We’re proud to welcome Dave Murdock to the Lockwood Commercial team! Dave’s 30 years of experience in all facets of commercial and investment real estate including property management will be an asset to our firm and to our clients. Dave holds a CA Real Estate Broker’s license and has achieved the professional designations of CPM (Certified Property Manager) and CSM (Certified Shopping Center Manager).
Dave has been a resident of San Diego for over 30 years, has earned a B.A. in Business Administration from SDSU, and has completed numerous graduate-level courses in property and asset management, finance, brokerage syndication and human relations.
Dave has also formed property investment corporations and managed property management companies with portfolios containing over 100 single-family, multi-family and commercial properties in the San Diego area. He has held various hands-on executive-level property and asset management positions with national companies including Fox & Carskadon Financial Corp. (Sr. Vice President overseeing their west coast commercial and multi-family property management portfolio), Angeles Corp. (Group Vice President supervising a staff overseeing 25,000 apartment units in 23 states). In addition to owning Select Realty Advisors that specialized in the sale and leasing of light-industrial, retail and multi-family properties, he also owned Azure Pacific Real Estate Services in Carlsbad, a multi-faceted real estate, property management, brokerage and leasing company.
